The World's First Dedicated LNG Container Carrier Has Been Successfully Converted in CSSC
Fanzhou 6 was Converted into LNG container carrier in CSSC for Tiger Gas, it is the word’s first 440 tanks LNG container carrier. The ship was originally a heavy cargo transport barge, 168.53 meters in length, 36 meters in width and 10.2 meters in depth. After converted, the ship is to be the first dedicated LNG container carrier in domestic, it can be fully loaded with up to 10,000 tons of LNG. The vessel will transport LNG from Malaysia to the Ma'anshan LNG Tank Container Distribution Center in Anhui, to provide gas service for civil and industrial users in nearby provinces, and to provide bunkering services for LNG fueled ships in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, to make contributions to the "Gasification of the Yangtze River".
After the ship entered the factory, CET carefully planned, organized and constructed, and completed the modification and engineering in only 25 days, 5 days shorter than planned, and with high-quality products and considerate service to get highly praised by the shipowner company.
